Selectives required a CSS Designer to re-produce the front end markup for their site.
The Selectives site had already been designed and was in the in the web dev build stage when I started. Selectives were unhappy with the Inconsistency in design and the complex and unnecessary amount of CSS that had been written, there were also inline styles where design hacks had been implemented to accommodate new functionality outside of the original spec. My Job was to simplify the CSS, make the style and design consistent across the entire site and remove and any in-line styles centralising new classes into the single CSS document.
Using trac and subversion I was able to work simultaneously on the code base with the developers to ensure quick delivery. The project happened to be written in a Ruby on rails environment.
