Working with Poke London, I was responsible for the HTML and CSS for the History channel templates.
I worked with a JavaScript developer on a day to day basis. The javascript developers role was to integrate program data and television schedules.
I ensured the interactive elements of the site were styled in accordance with the designs. I was also responsible for other areas javascript utilising jquery.
The new History Channel templates would be used to create another 3 additional websites.
These being -
- Military History.
- Crime & Investigation Network.
- Bio Channel.
The CSS and HTML had to be written in a fairly abstract and modular way. This way the additional themes and designs could be built using the existing HTML and CSS framework. During my contract at Poke I was also involved in various Client meetings, with Sky and development teams.
