Dreamhost Overcharges customers by $7.5 million

January 16th, 2008 | by benc |

It seems like Dreamhost have been having a few problems lately. The last couple of days Bjc Design (currently hosted on Dreamhost) has been taking up to 5 minutes to resolve a single page.

Is it a coincidence that yesterday Dreamhost made a major cock up by over billing its customers to the tune of $7.5 million. A very open blog post has been published by the company, which some may find a little too honest and light hearted for such a massive balls up.

Should I be looking for a web hosting provider?
